Beebs
Beebs is a French marketplace. In 2021, I joined the team as Head of Brand.
Parents use the app to buy stuff for kids when they need it. And sell it when they don’t anymore (usually three months later).
Competing with Vinted in kids’ second-hand was quite a challenge. But it wasn’t my first rodeo. Becoming the #2 worth buying is all about branding ⬇️
UX/UI design, CRM, TV, ads, PR, content, influence, social media, partnerships, customer care, sales, employer brand, pitch decks, crowdfunding…
My job was to make the Beebs brand feel consistent at every touchpoint.
We also worked hand in hand with the Head of Growth to turn it into a powerful marketing machine (and TV crushed it).
I built the brand strategy from the ground up: Beebs’ brand was about cutting parents some slack. About letting go.
Between 2022 and 2023, my small 7-person in-house team shipped:
1,500+ emails and in-app visual assets
1,300+ app and website UI screens
700+ social posts and 300+ social ads
Over two years, Beebs appeared in 10+ prime-time TV news segments and earned 50+ features in top-tier national newspapers and magazines.
More than 3 million families use Beebs, and over €10 million worth of merchandise was exchanged in 2023 alone.
The company had 40 full-time employees. It was a joy to work with such talented people.
After I left in 2023, Beebs was acquired by Kiabi.
